The overall concept and detailed description and construction of the Virtual Living Lab for Family Business and Family Business Transfer and Succession is based on what was achieved by University of agribusiness and rural development (UARD) under the INVEST project, regarding the construction of living labs, as well as the activities and exchange of good practices carried out under the STOB for regions project, in which RDA BSC SMEs was a partner.
The Business Transfer Platform will provide services on succession and transfer of business for family businesses.
It will work to:
• Create a safe environment for testing different business models;
• Raise the general awareness of ownership change and its benefits;
• Increase the emphasis and accessibility to expert services in the business transfer process (valuation, financing, legal issue, taxes, etc.);
• Provide a networking tool allowing “buyers” and “sellers” to meet;
• Promote business transfer as an alternative of starting a new business.
Additionally, it will:
• Support young entrepreneurs to ensure generation renewal in the economic sectors;
• Train, disseminate and provide advisory services specialized in the business transfer.
